zooplus is Europe’s largest online retailer for pet supplies. As one of the first movers in a massive € 26bn market opportunity, zooplus was founded in 1999 to bring pet shops online. Thanks to an early focus on BI and a sophisticated sales and distribution process, zooplus was able to beat corporate players on their home turf. Today, with customers in 30+ European countries and € 1,5bn revenue p.a., zooplus is the undisputed market leader in the online segment. In 2008, the former startup went public and was added to the SDAX index three years later.
